Testing accommodations for students with documented disabilities are available on all College Board exams, but Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) approves accommodations for only some of them.
Need Accommodations for SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, or AP Exams?
Accommodations for these exams must be approved by the College Board. Find out if you’re eligible.
Accommodations for ACCUPLACER and some CLEP exams are approved by schools, colleges, and test centers. Because it takes time to review documentation thoroughly, it’s always a good idea to make your request well in advance of test day.
The College Board does not review requests for accommodations on the ACT, which it does not administer.
CLEP Testing Accommodations
Most CLEP accommodations are approved by the test centers that administer CLEP exams, not by the College Board. However, accommodations for at-home CLEP exams (CLEP exams taken at home with remote proctoring) must be approved by SSD. Learn how to request specific accommodations.
ACCUPLACER Testing Accommodations
ACCUPLACER accommodations are available but are not approved by the College Board. Contact the test center at your college or other institution for more information.
PSAT 8/9 Testing Accommodations
PSAT 8/9 accommodations are approved by schools. Families should contact their school to learn more.
