When requesting use of a four-function calculator, documentation should demonstrate:

  • The student’s disability
  • Documentation showing that the disability impairs the student’s ability to perform math calculations


What is a four-function calculator?

A four-function calculator may actually have four, five, or six basic functions, but they must be limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, square roots, and percentage.
