How will this policy change work for digital AP Exams

On the Check Your Work screen, which students see after completing the last question of a test part, a Next button will appear. The button will not be clickable until after the standard time for that part has passed.

The Next button will only appear for students with extended time: all students will be given the standard amount of time.

After a student clicks the Next button at the bottom of the screen, they will see a message explaining that they have more time left and will not be able to return to the part or section if they want to move on. To leave the part or section and progress they will need to click the checkbox to confirm that they know that they cannot return, and then click Next again.

Upon completion of the exam, students taking hybrid digital AP Exams will see a new screen that will remind them to stop writing and await the collection of their paper materials to signify that the exam is over. For both fully digital and hybrid digital exams, all students will need to see the Congratulations screen to know their exam has been submitted and they can close their device.
